Leaders of the Snack: Meet Team brüks

Brooke Muldoon, Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer, brüks bars

Brooke is a serial adventurer, and the journey that began as an entrepreneur with brüks bars is no different. From backpacking through South America to leaving her West Coast roots for New York City without knowing a soul, she was born to be an entrepreneur. With a background in integrated marketing, she earned her stripes on the North American marketing team at global consulting firm Booz & Co. (now Strategy&) and went on to run social media for Morgan’s Hotel Group, Miami.

She is a lifelong athlete and food lover, has completed multiple marathons and triathlons, including the New York Marathon, and practices yoga. Her calling is to inspire other women to make their own luck - and never let fear stand in the way of pursuing their dreams and living life to the fullest.

Sean Muldoon, Co-founder & Chief Strategy Officer, brüks bars + Assistant Strength Coach/Sports Scientist, Seattle Sounders

Sean lives for food. He’s also our Chief Strategy Officer (and Chef) and works full-time as Assistant Strength Coach/Sports Scientist for the MLS’ Seattle Sounders. Previously Sports Performance Coach for the University of North Carolina, Charlotte 49ers men’s soccer, women’s tennis, and cross country programs. He has trained Olympic, professional and endurance athletes and has quite a few fancy letters behind his name that some of us at brüks HQ still don't understand: NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), the ACSM as a Health/Fitness Specialist (H/FS), and the NASM as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). He is as much a dreamer as he is disciplined in all things fitness and health, and has lived in five U.S. cities and as far as Cuba in the pursuit of happiness.

Pete Smith, Chief Operating Officer, brüks bars

Pete is a rare combination of powerhouse business savvy and heart. He's the man making the wheels turn behind-the-scenes at brüks bars, though he prefers leading from the front lines. His background runs the gamut from management consulting for Axia (now Accenture Strategy), vagabonding the world over, working for the NFL League Office and serving as the right hand for a nonprofit organization focused on ending homelessness.

His first loves were bats, balls and goals, and he brings a competitive spirit to his current pursuits in business and life. His business acumen is only rivaled by his thirst for adventure, which has taken him to over 20 countries in the past 10 years. Pete graduated cum laude from Harvard University and is thrilled to combine his love of health, food, exercise and nutrition into one delicious snack bar.
